Anjali - Sudha Ranjit

It is said each CD has on average 2 good songs and the others are average - no good. I have found this to often be true no matter how good the musician. These 2 songs in the album "Anjali" by "Sudha Ranjit" would be "Ganeshaashtakam" and "Sri Guru Om Guru Sadguru Om". Take me deep and high each time i hear them.

Sudha Ranjit has a mellifluous voice not unlike that of Chitra Roy or Gayathri ( 2 other melodious AOL singers). Clearly she is a Carnatic trained singer whose voice effortlessly reaches high notes without losing the swara.
